Programme Overview

The Master of Arts in Sociology is a two-year postgraduate program designed to equip students with advanced theoretical knowledge, analytical tools, and research skills to understand and interpret complex social realities. The course explores classical and contemporary sociological theories, methods of social research, and specialized areas such as gender, media, development, urban studies, and globalization. It prepares students to critically engage with pressing social issues and contribute meaningfully to academic, policy-making, and civil society spaces.
