Yoga Instructor Course (YIC)

Duration: Six Months

Eligibility: After passing the HSC examination

Overview: Irregular lifestyles and stressful working environments have affected young peoples’ health negatively. A host of lifestyle diseases can now be seen in younger people due to their irregular routines and stressful lives. In the past few years, Yoga started gaining immense popularity because of the increased prevalence of these lifestyle and stress-induced diseases. These days, people have started paying attention to their health and have realized the importance of living an active life through regular exercise and yoga.

India is where Yoga originated. Here, yoga is considered a way of life and not a form of exercise. Today yoga is practiced by people all over the world and they can see the multitude of benefits of practicing yoga.

Yoga helps in relieving stress, anxiety, chronic body pain and improves blood circulation, body flexibility, muscle strength, lung capacity, bone density, brain function, body posture and lowers blood sugar, blood pressure, and weight gain tendency to lower the risk of heart diseases.

AISECT university offers the Yoga Instructor Course for a duration of six months where students practice yoga to increase their own muscle strength, flexibility, and study the principles of yoga and Ayurveda. Post-Graduation Diploma in Yoga and Naturopathy

Eligibility: After graduation in science

Overview: Post-graduation diploma in Yoga and Naturopathy is a course that has a duration of one year and can be pursued right after graduating science. Naturopathy is one branch of science that focuses on the self-healing ability of the human body. It improves the body’s immunity, nervous system, hormonal balance and excretory system to cure various diseases. In this academic program, students study various kinds of diseases, their symptoms, problem areas, and causes like lifestyle disorder and stress, to learn the ways of curing these diseases. Career Prospects: After completing Yoga and Naturopathy courses students can start their own private practice or work in government and private hospitals to treat patients in a natural way.
