Admission to various courses shall be governed by respective ordinances and prospectus of the year. For admission to any course, conditions must be fulfilled by the applicant i.e. He/ She should have applied before last date of admission with due fees, should fulfill eligibility conditions laid down by the ordinance and come in the merit list formed by the Admission Cell.
Normally the academic session in the university for all the courses will begin in June/July on the date as declared on the website/notice board of the university. If a specific course is to commence from any other month/date it will be notified so.
For all the courses offered by the university admission notice will appear in the daily national New Paper/University website/Notice Board or any other publicity media.
Admission will be based on the University Entrance Test, schedule for which will be notified in the Newspaper/University website. A merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance Test. All the seats will be filled in order of merit.

Admission to PhD courses will be based on the Entrance Test followed by PI. Admission and conduct of the course will be based on Ordinance no 16 and PhD Information Brochure available at University Admission Cell.
For all the courses other than Management Agriculture and PhD admission will be based on the merit list made on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the minimum eligibility qualifying examination laid down by respective ordinances.
